Actors' Center

The Actors' Center is a volunteer membership organization and a nonprofit corporation created by and for actors in Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia. The Actors' Center sponsors semi-annual auditions, workshops, a library, staged readings of plays, and a monthly newsletter for its members. The members-only section of this website is updated daily with information on auditions for stage, film and TV, job offerings, classes, area freebies and discounts, and more. Student memberships are also available.

DragonukConnects is a professional networking community covering the entertainment industry in the mid-Atlantic states, including the Washington DC area. You can find auditions, jobs in the performing arts community, and network with other artists in the community.

League of Washington Theatres

The League of Washington Theatres is an association of nonprofit professional theatres and related organizations in the greater Washington metropolitan area. The League was established in 1982 to create greater public awareness, appreciation, and support for theatre in the Washington area. For almost 30 years, the members of the League have been at the center of an exciting, ever growing, nationally acclaimed theatre community.


TheatreWashington is "the only organization dedicated to supporting and representing all sectors of the Washington theatre community — theatres, professionals, and diverse audiences of all ages — to build a strong, vibrant, connected community."  You may know them best as the organization that produces the yearly Helen Hayes Awards, the Washington area's answer to New York's Tony Awards.
